FC2
The FC² project deals with circle of trust inter-connexion involving the French administration, banks, telecommunication operators and Web service providers. The consortium is compounded of ICT French State Branch (Direction Générale pour la Modernisation de l'État (D.G.M.E.)), the public interest group on banking cards (G.I.P. C.B.), many companies (Orange, Atos Worldline, Gemalto, Entr'ouvert) and research teams from the Institut TELECOM.

FederID
The FederID project is a project funded by the French national research agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR)) - call for project 2005. The consortium is compounded of many companies (Thales, Linagora, Entr'ouvert), the research lab of the TELECOM Saint-Étienne engineer school and the ObjectWeb (OW2) consortium.
The project has resulted in free softwares developments and enhancements dedicated to the identity federation and management technologies. The main softwares are the API LASSO, a library SAMLv2 (Conformance Liberty Alliance Dec. 2006) and ID-WSF 2.0 compliant, Authentic, a SAML2 identity provider and ID-WSF 2.0 discovery service, Inter-LDAP, a directory synchronization and management tool, and LemonLDAP, a reverse proxy dedicated to web applications protection and access control.
The LinID offer illustrates the success of this project and of the development led by Entr'ouvert. As a matter of fact, it is a business offer entirely based on softwares issued from the ANR FederID project, and relying on the LASSO library and the Authentic identity provider developed by Entr'ouvert.
