Presentation

w.c.s. (Web Communication Service) is an online teleforms and consultation design software developed by Entr'ouvert. It is compatible with Liberty Alliance and enables administrative officers with no IT expertise to easily create online forms and even consultations (to get the opinion of a population on a given question). w.c.s. is published under the GNU GPL licence.

w.c.s has a graphic interface carefully designed with AJAX. AJAX uses the power of style sheets (CSS) and the Javascript language on the client side to interpret the reply of the HTTP server. Applications are thus more reactive, the amount of date exchanged between the browser and the HTTP server being greatly reduced. The request handling time on the server side is also slightly reduced, part oh the handling being done on the computer from which the request comes.

Features

  • Simple and carefully designed administration and public interfaces
